Code blank machine operating procedures

Code Blank Machine Operating Procedures

(1) Pre-Startup Checks

1. Inspect all fastening screws of the code blank machine to ensure they are tight and check that all lubrication points are properly oiled.

2. Confirm that all rotating parts of the machine move smoothly without any jamming or resistance.

3. Verify the condition of the gas lines, lifting chains, solenoid valves, photoelectric sensors, proximity switches, and other critical components. Ensure that the pressure gauge shows the required pressure for production.

4. Check that all control panel buttons are in their designated positions and ready for operation.

5. Make sure the code blank is correctly positioned and aligned for processing.

6. Inspect the kiln car bracket and brick surface to ensure it is clean, flat, and properly placed.

7. Perform a no-load test run of the machine. Only proceed with startup if everything operates normally.

(2) During Operation

1. Always use the safety signals as instructed and remain fully aware of the machine’s operational status. If you hear any unusual noises or vibrations, stop the machine immediately to prevent potential accidents.

2. If the machine’s movement is incorrect or not in the right position, manually adjust the controls to correct the issue promptly.

3. Avoid touching the photoelectric sensors during operation to prevent interference with the system.

4. Monitor the kiln car positioning regularly and adjust it as needed to avoid production downtime due to missing cars.

5. Observe the billet groups being transported by the billet unit and make timely adjustments to prevent misalignment, which could lead to clamping or damage between blanks.

6. Ensure that only qualified blanks are placed on the kiln car. Any warped or misaligned bricks should be corrected quickly to avoid affecting the next batch of blanks.

(3) Post-Operation Procedures

1. Clean the machine thoroughly and maintain a tidy working environment.

2. Record all relevant details and complete the shift handover to ensure smooth continuity for the next team.

3. Report any issues or irregularities encountered during the shift to the supervisor for further investigation.

4. Turn off the power supply and lock out the machine if it will not be used for an extended period.

5. Review the day's performance and note any areas for improvement or maintenance needs.

6. Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to their proper storage locations after use.

7. Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with your team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
