Code Blank Machine Operating Procedures
(1) Pre-Startup Checks
1. Inspect all fastening screws of the code blank machine to ensure they are secure and check that all lubrication points are properly oiled.
2. Verify that all moving parts of the device are operating smoothly without any jamming or resistance.
3. Examine the gas lines, lifting chains, solenoid valves, photoelectric sensors, proximity switches, and other critical components for proper function. Ensure the pressure gauge indicates the required pressure for production.
4. Confirm that all control panel buttons are in their correct and designated positions.
5. Check that the code blank is placed correctly on the machine.
6. Ensure the kiln car bracket is clean, flat, and positioned properly.
7. Perform an empty test run of the machine. Only proceed with startup if everything operates normally.
(2) During Operation
1. Always use safety signals correctly while the equipment is running. Keep a clear awareness of the machine’s operational status. If any unusual noises or vibrations occur, stop the machine immediately to prevent accidents.
2. If the machine’s actions are not functioning as expected or the movement is incomplete, manually adjust the controls to reset the position promptly.
3. Be cautious not to touch or interfere with the photoelectric sensor to avoid misoperations.
4. Monitor the kiln car’s position and adjust it as needed to prevent downtime due to missing cars.
5. Observe the billet group being conveyed by the unit and make timely adjustments to prevent misalignment, which could cause clipping between the blanks.
6. Ensure that only qualified blanks are placed on the kiln car. Any warped or misaligned bricks should be straightened quickly to avoid affecting the next batch of blanks.
(3) Post-Operation
1. Clean the machine thoroughly and maintain a tidy work area.
2. Document the operation details and prepare a handover report for the next shift.
3. Regularly inspect and maintain the machine to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.
4. Report any issues or malfunctions immediately to the maintenance team.
5. Follow all safety protocols at all times to protect both personnel and equipment.
6. Train new operators on the proper procedures and emphasize the importance of following each step carefully.
