Baige Company leads overseas "Golden Phoenix" to promote the upgrading of talent intelligence structure

As one of the key highlights of the 8th China (Henan) International Investment and Trade Fair, an important event took place on the afternoon of April 1—the first high-level overseas talent intelligence project matchmaking meeting in Henan Province. Hosted at the Zhengzhou Convention and Exhibition Center, the event marked a significant step in attracting global expertise to support local development. The meeting was jointly organized by the Henan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Henan Foreign Experts Bureau. Over 60 foreign experts and high-level talents from around the world attended, showcasing their knowledge and innovation across various fields. More than 70 enterprises and institutions, including well-known companies like Zhengzhou Yutong Bus, Baige Abrasives, and CITIC Heavy Industry Machinery, participated in the event. They presented projects covering areas such as biopharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, new energy and materials, energy conservation, environmental protection, electronic information, the Internet of Things, modern service industries, and cultural creativity. Ni Kai, CEO of the North American China Scholars International Exchange Center, emphasized the importance of building a sustainable platform for overseas talents. He pointed out that while many professionals are eager to return to China, they often lack clear opportunities to connect with local businesses and industries. According to Ni Kai, the government should create an effective communication channel so that both overseas talents and domestic enterprises can engage in meaningful exchanges and collaborations. The North American China Scholars International Exchange Center, which has been registered in the U.S. since 2000, has played a vital role in connecting Chinese scholars abroad with opportunities back home. The center has successfully hosted 11 sessions of the "North American Chinese Students Science and Technology Project and Talent Exchange Conference" under the North American Federation of Trade Fairs. These events have brought back nearly 1,000 high-level scientific and technological talents and over 100 high-tech projects to China. Looking ahead, Ni Kai believes that Henan should continue to strengthen its efforts in creating a more open and supportive environment for returning talents. By fostering closer ties between overseas experts and local industries, the province can leverage global expertise to drive innovation and economic growth. This initiative not only benefits the participating enterprises but also helps shape a more dynamic and competitive business landscape in Henan.
