The instrument is composed of a sampling system, an oil bath, a measuring chamber, a constant temperature controller, a measuring circuit, and an explosion-proof structure, and is divided into an instrument box and a constant temperature oil bath box. The two parts are integrated one on top of the other. Four columns support the instrument box and the oil bath box, all of which are explosion-proof structures. The instrument box structure is made of explosion-proof type according to GB33836.2-83 "Explosion-proof electrical equipment for explosion-proof environment and flameproof electrical equipment "d"". The wiring device of the meter box is installed in the order of explosion-proof structure drawings. The cables are multi-stranded flexible cables. They must not use hard core or aluminum cables. The outer diameters of the cables are φ5mm and φ8mm, respectively, to ensure that the sealing ring can tighten the cable after tightening the compression nut to ensure explosion-proof performance.

The rubber sealing ring of the instrument box for introducing cables is made of 3001 rubber with a Shore hardness of 45-55, and can withstand the aging test specified in Chapter 29 of GB3836.1-83 (General Requirements for Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment for Explosive Use). Terminals are explosion-proof parts. The user must not scratch or damage the flameproof surface during use and maintenance. Meter box ammeter, display window glass are made of tempered glass. All metal explosion-proof joints should be coated with 204-1 replacement rust preventive oil. The transformer oil in the constant-temperature oil bath not only plays a role in heat exchange but also is an insulating oil with good arc suppression performance. The 9OW explosion-proof motor is used for the stirring motor and the M15 grounding bolt is used for the explosion-proof box wiring cover.

The sampling system adopts a drainage structure, which leads from the process pipeline and enters the constant temperature oil bath after proper oil sample processing. The oil temperature must be lower than the constant temperature, otherwise cooling equipment should be added to the oil. The oil under test is heat-exchanged with the constant-temperature medium transformer oil in the coil and enters the measuring chamber after the temperature is constant. The measuring chamber is a closed container that is connected by a heat exchange coil and placed directly in a constant temperature oil bath. The continuous flow of oil is measured continuously. The measured electrical signal is transmitted through the cable to the meter box. The ultrasonic transducer is mounted on the caps at both ends of the measuring chamber, and the capping head is made of an alloy aluminum material whose acoustic impedance is similar to that of the transducing wafer, so that the air permeability is better. The wafer is attached to the aluminum cover head. A little chelating agent is added between the aluminum cover head and the contact surface of the wafer. When the wafer vibrates, the ultrasonic waves emitted have more energy to pass through the aluminum cover head into the oil and can be received by the receiving transducer. . The thermostatic controller consists of a platinum resistance thermometer in the oil bath and a microcontroller control circuit in the instrument box. After the platinum resistance thermometer sends the temperature signal to the SCM control circuit for processing, the heater is controlled so that the oil bath is kept at a constant temperature.
