1. Processing of Aluminum Alloy Doors and Windows

When processing aluminum alloy doors and windows, it is essential to ensure that the surface of the material is clean and free from oil stains, aluminum shavings, burrs, or any other contaminants. When embedding any strips, avoid over-stretching them. The strip should be approximately 10 mm longer than the groove where it is inserted. It should be wrapped around once, and the joint should be aligned at the corner of the frame rather than cut into multiple segments.

All joints, hardware, and metal linings used in aluminum alloy doors and windows must undergo surface anti-corrosion treatment unless they are made of stainless steel. This helps prevent rust and ensures long-term durability.

The glass blocks should be made of hard rubber or plastic materials. Avoid using reclaimed rubber, wood chips, or other absorbent materials, as they may compromise the structural integrity and performance of the window.

After assembly, the bead (the rubber or plastic component that holds the glass) should be firm, with a gap between the butts not exceeding 1 mm. This ensures a tight and secure fit.

The overlap between the glass and the window frame should be measured from the edge of the frame and the sash. Each side should have a minimum overlap of 8 mm. For double-glazed units, the aluminum spacer should not be visible, and a glass spacer must be installed during assembly to maintain proper alignment and insulation.

2. Installation of Aluminum Alloy Doors and Windows

Before installation, the vertical, horizontal (elevation), and wall thickness positions must be clearly defined. When installing the window frame, a 5–8 mm gap should be left between the frame and the opening. Ensure that the gap on the top and bottom sides is evenly distributed. When using a connecting piece, its thickness should be no less than 2 mm to provide sufficient support.

The diagonal deviation of the installed window frame should not exceed 2.0 mm. The vertical deviation of the front and side frames, including any splicing materials, should also be within 2.0 mm. The horizontal deviation of the entire window frame, including splicing parts, should not exceed 1.5 mm. The elevation error should be kept under 5.0 mm to ensure proper alignment.

For fixing the window frame, use expansion bolts directly to attach the frame to the wall. Screws must be tightened properly using a screwdriver, not by hammering. When using connecting pieces, fix the frame through the expansion bolt on the wall. Regardless of the method used, the fixing points should not be spaced more than 600 mm apart, and each fastener should be embedded at least 50 mm into the structural body for stability.

Once the door and window frame is installed, there should be no warping, sagging, or deformation, which could affect the smooth operation of the window. Before installing the glass, remove all mortar and debris from the cavity to keep the drainage holes clear. After the window sash is installed, the surface should be clean, without large areas of pitting, scratches, dents, or rust. The sealant applied should be smooth, even, and free from air bubbles for an aesthetically pleasing finish.

All finished components must be fully installed and securely fixed, with no missing parts or misplacements. The sealing strips should be evenly placed and firmly attached after assembly. The corners of the frame should be tightly bonded without any gaps or cracks. There should be no broken ends or loose sections in the seals.
