On May 30th, a meeting was held in the county party committee’s conference room to review the design plan for the Diamond Tower. County Party Secretary Liu Lianchang, along with other key leaders such as Liang Hui, Ren Chongqing, Li Zhiping, Zhao Yuzhen, Liu Shou, Jiang Hailing, Yu Huamin, Zhang Yanyao, Song Ming, Yang Qinghe, Xia Wenying, Zhou Renfu, Zheng Mingran, and Yang Xinquan, attended the event. Representatives from relevant government departments and businesses within the diamond industrial cluster were also present. Deputy Magistrate Zhou Renfu chaired the meeting.
During the meeting, representatives from the Henan Provincial Urban and Rural Architectural Design Institute presented the design concept of the Diamond Tower. Participants engaged in discussions, offering their opinions and suggestions on various aspects including the symbolic meaning of the tower, its structural design, and the lighting plan for nighttime visibility.
After reviewing the design proposal and listening to the feedback, Liu Lianchang, the county party secretary, emphasized several key points. First, he stressed the importance of building the Diamond Tower, which consists of three main parts: the Industry Tower, the Truth Tower, and the Fighting Tower. He highlighted that the tower represents the new image of Yucheng’s leading industry in superhard materials, reflecting the people's hopes and strong belief in sustainable development. Second, he called for strategic planning, suggesting that the tower should be located in the high-tech industrial cluster area to promote both the industry and the city’s image. Third, he urged the design institute to incorporate feedback and innovative ideas into the project, focusing on enhancing the visual appeal and night-time illumination. Lastly, he emphasized the need for scientific operation, ensuring that the design aligns with the city's development vision and is well-executed.
The meeting was an important step forward in the development of the Diamond Tower, showing the commitment of local leaders to creating a landmark that reflects Yucheng’s progress and aspirations.
