SolidWorks design Su-27 fighter provides STL/IGS/SLDPRT

SolidWorks has created a detailed 3D model of the Su-27 fighter jet, offering downloadable source files in STL, IGS, and SLDPRPT formats. These files are ideal for engineers, designers, and enthusiasts looking to study or modify the aircraft's structure. The Su-27, developed by the Soviet Union's Sukhoi Design Bureau, is a single-seat, twin-engine air superiority fighter designed for air defense, escort missions, and maritime patrols. NATO assigned it the nickname "Flanker" due to its powerful performance and advanced design.

Development of the Su-27 began in 1969, with its first flight taking place on May 20, 1977. It entered mass production in 1979 and became operational in 1985. The aircraft features a blended wing-body design, a mid-wing configuration with a smoothly curved leading edge at the wing root, and twin vertical stabilizers in a conventional layout. Its wedge-shaped inlet is positioned at the front and lower part of the fuselage. To prevent foreign objects from entering during landing, the inlet includes grid-type auxiliary doors. The fuselage is constructed using an all-metal semi-monocoque structure, with a slightly downward-nosed cockpit. The airframe incorporates a large amount of aluminum and titanium alloys, along with a traditional three-beam wing design, ensuring both strength and aerodynamic efficiency.
