Jaguar Land Rover Motor Company recalls some imported Land Rover Range Rover Aurora and Freelander 2 cars

Jaguar Land Rover Auto Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. submitted a recall report to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall the following imported cars from December 25, 2012:

1. The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Aurora and Freelander 2 cars produced on June 11, 2012, according to the company's statistics, involved 190 units in mainland China.

Due to manufacturing problems, the fixed torque value of the rear brake caliper of the above vehicle does not meet the design standard. The fixing bolt may be loose during the use of the vehicle, causing abnormal noise, and may cause the brake to fail, and the related wheel tire may suddenly smash. Gas, there are security risks.

2. The 2012 and 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Aurora vehicles produced from August 20 to September 18, 2012, according to the company's statistics, involved 147 units in mainland China.

Due to manufacturing problems, the fixed torque value of the steering gear of the above vehicle does not meet the design standard. At low speed, there will be abnormal noise at the front position of the vehicle. The fixing bolt may be loosened during the use of the vehicle, and the steering gear cannot be effectively fixed.
