The application of Delta inverter in the third-level biosafety laboratory

1 Introduction

The three-level biosafety laboratory has been used more and more in China. In the three-level biosafety laboratory system, the laboratory delivery and exhaust fans are all controlled by inverters. The Delta VFD-F type is selected, and the VFD-F type is a special inverter for fans and pumps.

The third-level biosafety laboratory, the stability of the air supply system is the first. The pressure control in the laboratory is generated by the deviation of the delivery and exhaust fans. Exhaust air is greater than 10% of the supply air to form the laboratory's negative pressure. The air supply in the laboratory is constant, and the exhaust is regulated by PID. To ensure the stability of the pressure in the laboratory rooms. The frequency converter plays a decisive role in this air supply and exhaust system.

2, system composition

In the third-level biosafety laboratory, the start-stop and frequency of the VFD-F inverter are controlled by a certain series of PLCs. At the same time, the inverter feeds back to the PLC alarm signal. The formation of the entire system consists of two parts. Three sets of C200H-PLC and VFD-F inverter VFD075F43B (1 set of blower and 2 sets of exhaust fan). The inverter and PLC installation diagram is shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

In the third-level biosafety laboratory, there are 2 exhaust fans, one fan is commonly used, and the other fan is reserved. When one of the fans fails, it automatically switches to another.

The PLC selects the C200HG-CPU43 series, in which the switch input module selects C200HW-ID212, and the switch output module selects C200HW-OC225. Analog output module C200HW-DA004.
