2. Continue to topdress in the middle and late stages of the ball, that is, the internal leaf ball continues to grow after the top dressing is over, the outer leaf ball size has been shaped, and the leaf ball cracking will also occur under the internal leaf ball expansion pressure.
3. If the leaf ball is mature and fails to be listed in time, it will also cause cracking.
4. Long-distance transportation or storage of Chinese cabbage can only be harvested at the age of 80 to 90%. If the harvest is too mature, leaf ball cracking will occur during transportation or preservation. Cracked leaf balls can also cause soft rot or other pests. Therefore, pay attention to uniform water supply during cultivation, and stop topdressing in the later stage. If it is not available, it can be rooted and treated to prevent roots from continuing to absorb water and nutrients.
