According to statistics, the nitrogen oxide emissions of the cement industry are the third emission portal after the thermal power generation and automobile exhaust emissions. The reduction of nitrogen oxides is not only a constraint but also a responsibility. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the emission of nitrogen oxides was first included in the binding index system. Recently, the statistics released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection on the reduction of major pollutants in the first half of the year showed that in the first half of the year, chemical oxygen demand and carbon dioxide emissions continued to decline among the four major pollutants, but the new indicator ammonia nitrogen Emissions only fell by 0.73%, while nitrogen oxides emissions increased by 6.17%, which is quite different from the target of the 1.5% emission reduction for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” in 2011.
