Seven taboos for pesticide use

First, use well water to dispense medicine. The well water contains more minerals such as calcium and magnesium, and they are easy to react with the chemical solution to form a precipitate, thereby reducing the efficacy.

Second, sewage dispensing. The sewage contains many impurities, and the dispensing will block the nozzle, which will also destroy the stability of the liquid and reduce the efficacy.

Third, apply the medicine under wind and rain and high temperature. Spraying the wind will make the pesticides drift; when applied in rainy days, the liquid is washed away by rain to reduce the efficacy; when applied at high temperature, it is prone to phytotoxicity and poisoning. Therefore, the optimal application time is: 8:00 am to 11:00 am, and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The weather is fine and the breeze is applied.

Fourth, the abuse of pesticides. The corresponding pesticides should be used according to the crop type, the control object and the performance of the drug, so as to achieve the right medicine, and avoid blindly increasing the application amount, resulting in enhanced pest resistance, reducing the control effect, and easily causing phytotoxicity.

5. Spraying at the flowering stage. Crops and fruit trees are applied at the flowering stage and are prone to phytotoxicity.

6. Apply before taking. Since pesticides can cause residues on crops, residues can cause food poisoning if applied before harvesting.

Seven, one medicine is used together. Long-term use of one or a dosage form of pesticides is most likely to cause pest resistance and reduce the control effect, so it should be used alternately.
