Probiotics - controversial additives
Probiotics have a wide variety of uses and unique uses, and their products are not only different in price, but also have even different effects.
Probiotics appear to play a greater role in the feeding of broilers and piglets, probably because their gut system is still immature.
When probiotics first appeared on the market, their taste was extremely poor because they were extremely unstable under granulation conditions, resulting in different animal experiments. Therefore, most nutritionists are still critical of probiotics, and they believe in an axiom that is far from any product with unknown background, as it may affect profitability.
But when it comes to general counseling about probiotics, I can provide the following points for consideration, but not in all cases:

If the feed needs to be granulated, extruded or otherwise heated, the heat resistance of the product is of the utmost importance. Not all products have the same high temperature resistance.
Each product is unique and requires careful testing of certain ingredients for the formulation. Therefore, probiotics should not be considered as an adjunct additive and should be considered as part of the overall formulation.
Probiotics that are effective on one farm may be completely ineffective on another, apparently due to differences in the microbial community ecosystem. Most intestinal microbial additives are generally applicable.
