The yaw and pitch bearings have special requirements in terms of clearance. Compared with the yaw bearing, the impact load of the pitch bearing is relatively large; the blast of the wind blows to the blade is also large; therefore, the clearance of the required pitch bearing should be zero. The clearance may have a slight negative clearance value; this can reduce the fretting wear of the bearing in the case of sensation. The yaw bearing demand is a small clearance value.
Wind turbine equipment is operated in the field; and some of the yaw and pitch bearings are exposed to the outside; they are exposed to atmospheric pollution; the high humidity environment also corrodes the bearing matrix; thus; the yaw and deformation exposed to the outside The position of the paddle bearing needs to be treated for external corrosion protection.
